I'm in my first playthrough of DS3, my first souls game. I have somehow managed to avoid almost all of the npcs. ... I would really like to have a titanite slab for my +9 exiled greatsword, so I look up siegward questline. I go and save his armor in the well. The Wiki says that now he should be in the cell.. Which I've already opened...
It's a better idea to leave patches alive. If he still has the catarina armor when grierat goes on his second mission, you can inform patches of grierat's whereabouts and patches will save him. Sieg can save him too, but it's not nearly as easy. Then after you beat pontiff and patches/grierat return, you can buy the catarina armor from patches ...So, i'm doing siegward questline, he is currently in his last position and with no more dialogue to give, but when i enter yhorm boss room he simply doesn't appear, i have tried to quit and restart the game some times but the same happens, did i miss something? ... my Ds3 boss tier list ( don't question why dragonslayer is so high ) ...Is there a bug with Siegward's quest? There's a couple of ways, 1 of them is best. You can buy the armor from Patches at the Cathedral and never give it to Siegward, or the better way is to follow and finish his quest line. At the end of it youll have gotten some siegbrau, the armor, and a titanite slab.
